Your lyrical prose is beautiful, enchanting and paints the most vivid images of your characters and the world they live in. I fell in love with Logan so much more and getting these minute glimpses of his world leaves me wanting more. The Winter Prince Kian had my heart the day he appeared before Breena, but I always tucked away a chamber of my heart for Logan. And now I know why I have read that Kailin will be turning this into a series, and I am ecstatic th I am such a huge fan of Kailin Gow! I have read that Kailin will be turning this into a series, and I am ecstatic that she is fulfilling her fans' need to read more about the Feyland wolf clans.
Smashwords – The Wolf Fey (A Frost Novella) – a book by Kailin Gow
I truly hope that Logan will find his Lady There is no greater loss than a love that almost was, and I have a newfound respect and love for the leading male who always loses his lady love to her intended, her betrothed, her soulmate. Yes, I am speaking of the infamous love triangle, and I appreciate Kailin's literary talent even more as she sheds light into the hearts of men who lose their loved ones to the princes, alpha males, and the most popular guy in school.
Logan is oh so charming, handsome and sexy! And he is soooooo protective of Breena I think that one chamber of my heart will flourish into two chambers if Kailin keeps this up. I absolutely loved this novelette Feb 13, Lauren rated it it was amazing Shelves: Logan is my favorite in the Frost Series because he's sweet, so handsome and masculine.

I think he can have a chance with Breena. I love reading from Logan's view. He sees Breena as beautiful even when she doesn't believe it. He's loyal to her and to the Wolf fey. I love him and want to read more. May 05, Kat rated it liked it. A Grammar check app or a better proofreader would be nice. There are places where "I" was used when it should have been "me". Other than the fact 36 pages could have been written on paper napkins, the story although a little weak, will probably strengthen in the next book. Hopefully the wolf Prince has something more exciting to do instead of taking the whole book and its readers into the depths of despair about Breena.
I hope her character gets stronger, I hate wimpy females. Mar 15, Victoria Budkey rated it liked it. A bit predictable but I like the characters a good bit. Sep 01, Melanie rated it did not like it Shelves: I didn't mean to read this book, really. I mean, I didn't even know it existed until it appeared at the back of my copy of Bitter Frost , the main series this is stemming off. And I really wish I hadn't carried on reading. I wish I'd just stopped. Because this book makes no sense. It takes place in the couple of days prior to Breena's 16th birthday, whilst BF begins on the day itself.
But this short story it only seems to be about 20 pages long has very clearly been written very much I didn't mean to read this book, really. But this short story it only seems to be about 20 pages long has very clearly been written very much after the fact. There is no link between the two. There are things that apparently happen the day before BF that would have been referenced. Like 'oh, I saw my best friend naked and then he tried to kiss me. There's no weirdness, no mention of it at all. If you're going to write a prequel, at least make it believably tied-in with the original.
And in BF Breena tries to claim she had no idea how Logan felt for her? Obviously she's suffering from retrograde amnesia. I'm not going to go into how awful this story is any more than this or it'll just turn into a big rant. Just, don't bother reading it. It's really not worth the time. Nov 29, Chani rated it did not like it Shelves: First of all, this isn't a novella, it's a short story. While there's nothing wrong with a short story, it should at least be labeled as one correctly. A novella is something that's longer then a short but shorter then a novel.
Second of all, the grammar was atrocious.

The tense also seemed to jump around sometimes which was just annoying, and the dialogue between the characters wasn't very believable at all. Oh, and was everyo So Oh, and was everyone aware that Logan is a wolf fey from feyland? I swear I counted a repeat of that over ten times on one page. After a while it's like, ok, we get it. Also, I might have missed something and if I did I apologize for this next part, but was this one Breena's 16th birthday as well? If so, this doesn't match up to the first book of the series which I read despite how terrible this was.
I mean, I like the idea of getting more in depth with the wolf fey, but it could have been executed better. I would skip over this, but suggest still giving the first book a try. Dec 06, Lettee rated it liked it. I liked this story. It took me a little bit to stay involved in it, but overall, I enjoyed the read. What I didn't like was finding out afterwards that it is part of a larger series. I am sorry, but I do not like long series. After about the 3rd or 4th book, most of the time you either are "begging" for it to end, or you just quit reading them altogether.
So, with that being said. IF you don I liked this story. IF you don't want to have to read all the other books, pass this one up. Sep 28, Jessica rated it liked it Shelves: I know this book is suppost to be a book before Bitter frost but the events with Logan and Bree don't add up at all especially in the end with the gargoyle eating the remote no where in Bitter Frost does Bree or Logan mention this event and in the beginning of the Bitter frost she is sititng on a bus and sees a Satyr and she thinks she must have not bgotten enough sleep to be seeing things outside of her dream.
It was still a good read to see things from Logan and see who the wolves work but the I know this book is suppost to be a book before Bitter frost but the events with Logan and Bree don't add up at all especially in the end with the gargoyle eating the remote no where in Bitter Frost does Bree or Logan mention this event and in the beginning of the Bitter frost she is sititng on a bus and sees a Satyr and she thinks she must have not bgotten enough sleep to be seeing things outside of her dream.
